When should you take it, in the morning or at night?
The best time to take your doses of Psyllium Husk is in the morning or just after a meal. Avoid taking it over a bedtime. It is also a good idea to ask your doctor to take fibre supplements that interact with any medicine that you take. Consume Psyllium at least 1 hour before or 2-4 hours after taking your meal or other medications.
How much time does it take for Psyllium Husk to Work?
Working Period of Psyllium Husk is generally slow. Sometimes it may take a few days(11-70 hrs) after your intake. Do not take Psyllium for longer than seven days in a row. Psyllium usually produces a bowel movement with 12-72 hours. Always remember that consuming a laxative very often or for too long may cause serious medical issues with your intestines.
